Q1 conferences we're grateful to pitch š¦ (after Thanksgiving)

We often talk about how things āused to beā in our industry: competitive, protective over intel, and cut throat. Not anymore. We love that now we can share, brainstorm and collab. Itās Thanksgiving week so things might be slower. Weāre using it as an opportunity to give you a peek into our speaking calendars. If youāre in 2024 planning mode, here are some of the conferences on our radar to pitch for speakers in Q1 in date order:
WSJĀ Health (Feb 21, Boston). This is one of the most exclusive healthcare events, and thereās not an official speaker submission process. Be thoughtful if you choose to email the organizer Carolyn Carson at carolyn.carson@dowjones.com.
Fintech Nexus x Fintech Meetup Conference (March 3-6, Vegas). Two of the largest fintech conferences are getting married. This is their Vegas wedding! Apply to speak at it here. Note that Fintech Meetup strives to deliver a gender balanced speaker lineup, so keep that in mind when selecting your spokespeople.
Shoptalk (March 17-20 in Las Vegas). This is the biggest one to track if youāre in e-commerce, retail, or DTC. While they welcome āapplications from employees at retailers and brands as well as from solution providers. We do not, however, pair solution providers and their clients on stage together.ā Apply to speak here.
TechCrunch Early Stage (April 25, Boston). This is a conference for VCs and early-stage founders. Come in with a hot take about something founders at the earliest stage (pre-seed/seed) can learn. Itās happening April 25 in Boston. Submit your speaker submission form by 1/10/24.
WSJ Future of Everything Festival (May 21-24 in NYC). This event is a ways out, but itās also an important one, and one that plans early. It canāt hurt to get going on your ideas now then fill out the form here when youāre ready.
